Holy Family Cathedral Adult Education

Continuing one's faith formation is a life-long process; it does not end with high school religious education or the Sacrament of Confirmation.

"Lay persons are bound by the obligation and possess the right to acquire knowledge of Christian doctrine appropriate to the capacity and condition of each in order to them to be able to live according to this doctrine, announce it themselves, defend it if necessary, and take their part in exercising the apostolate."
Code of Canon Law 229

Throughout the year, the parish offers adult education in various ways. There are periodic small group faith formation groups which gather to study matters of the faith and/or sacred scripture.

At the diocesan level, the Pastoral Studies Institute offers a variety of adult education classes throughout the year, including courses leading to a theology degree.

Please contact the Monica Skrzypczak, Director of Religious Education, (918) 582-6247 ext. 18, for more information on adult education opportunities. Also, be sure to read the parish bulletin for upcoming classes and lectures.
