Religious Education for Children & Youth
From August through May, the children and youth of our parish who attend public school attend religious education classes taught by dedicated volunteers from our parish community. Most all of these volunteer catechists (the teachers) are not professional teachers, but simply faithful members of the parish who are called to assist the parents (who are the primary educators of their children) to pass on the Catholic faith to our young people. There are many areas where volunteers are needed to keep this RE program running smoothly, positions which include not only teaching or assisting in the classes, pre-school through 12th grade, but also helping with the program in other ways.
Religious Education classes begin the Sunday after Labor Day. Registration forms are here.
If you would like to assist with the religious education program, you may call Monika Davis, Coordinator of Religious Education, or Monica Skrzypczak, Director of Religious Education at the parish. We would love to have you join us in this very important evangelization mission.
